On June 16th, the Cervantes Institute and Casa África presented the book "Spanish in Sub-Saharan Africa,"
a collaborative volume offering an updated and detailed overview of the teaching, learning,
and presence of Spanish in 24 sub-Saharan African
countries.
One of them is Sudan.
In chapter 21, Jorge Carlos Naranjo Alcaide and Francisco Rodríguez López (Comboni College of Science and Technology) present the situation of Spanish language in this country (pp. 409-421).
The Comboni College of Science and Technology has played a fundamental role in the history of this language in Sudan as the chapter describes.
