9th Nov - Workshop on “Open Data and its economic and social benefits for the community"

Impact Hub Khartoum and the Sudanese Knowledge Society, in collaboration with Comboni Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and CCST organized a one-day workshop about “Open Data and its Economic and Social Benefits for the Community". The workshop involved CCST graduates and students and took place on November 9, 2019 at the Conference Hall. The director of Impact Hub Khartoum, Mr. Khalid Ali, presented a paper on "Data-Driven Company potential for entrepreneurs"; Eng. Ihab Shoully talked about "Data Literacy and Competency Model for Open Data"; Eng. Marwan Awad about "Open Data for Social Change; and Dr. Haitham A.Moneim, Program Coordinator of the BSc in Computer Science at CCST presented a paper on "Data Science and Data Scientist". After the "Open Data workshop", there was a "Knowledge Cafe" to brainstorm and share knowledge about Entrepreneurs and Academicians collaboration.
