International Congress: Education & Sustainable Development

The Aula Magna of the new premises of the College at the Playground hosted this international congress that had the following program: Sustainable Development: a multidimensional concept, by Rebecca Grant - University of St Andrews, United Kingdom(U.k); Sustainable Development and Social Innovation, by Carolina Ramirez & Claudia Campos - Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain); Introduction to the SDG by Vincenzo Racalbuto, Head of Office, Italian Agency for Development Cooperation in Sudan; Agriculture and Sustainable Development Goals, by Mr. Mirko Abbondanza, Italian Agency for Development Cooperation in Sudan; Minors, Social Inclusion and Sustainable Development Goals, by Mr. Akram Abdel Italian Agency for Development Cooperation in Sudan; Sustainable local entrepreneurship in Omdurman: "Plastic Recycling Company", by Hattan Hassanain; Sustainable Development Goals: the Role of UNIDO in Sudan, by Mr. Mohamed Abdelmomen, UNIDO Country Representative. The congress was attended by the Vice-Director of Private Higher Education, Dr. Mohamed Ismail, the Director of International Relations of the University of Dongola and 170 persons who filled the hall.
