Inauguration of the IV Cultural & the new premises at the Comboni Playground

The Archbishop of Khartoum, Mons. Micheal Didi, cut the ribbon of the new premises at the Comboni playground. The event meant also the inauguration of the IV Cultural Week of the College under the theme: Education and Sustainable Development. The Apostolic Nuncio to Sudan, Mons. Bert Van Megen, the Deputy Head of Mission of the Italian Embassy, Dr. Valeria Romare, the Provincial Supervisor of the Comboni Missionaries, Fr. Richard Kyankaaga, the Provincial of the Comboni Sisters. Sr. Rosangela Boschi, the Director of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, Mr. Vincenzo Racalbuto and other personalities attended the inauguration. On the second day there was an international congress on the above mentioned theme and the third and fourth day were for the academic exhibitions where the students expressed the relation between the sustainable development goals and their respective field of studies ot countries of origin. The activities of the week were organized in collaboration with United nations Industrial Development (UNIDO) and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation. Polo Frenzy also collaborated economically for the inauguration.
